Shegs: Bring it, Skarra – we are ready for United!
The battle to see who’s the best coach will be decided by Coach and Musa when their teams meet at Strikaland. However, another battle will take place on the field when Shegs goes one-on-one with his former best friend, Skarra.
The Strikas/United derby is just a few weeks away and there’s a lot of tension between players, coaches and supporters. The big talk of the town is how Shegs and Skarra will handle the clash as the two have a history of not getting along, especially when it comes to derbies.
Many Supa Strikas supporters wonder how Shegs will approach the game and feel confident their wonder boy will deliver this time, despite failing to score against his rival in two games last season. This bad track record is another thing the media says might trouble the striker’s performance.
Regardless of tensions in Strikaland, Shegs looks 100% positive and ready to score his first ever goal against United in the Super League. “This will mean a lot to me to score against United. Last season wasn’t my year, but I feel I’ll do better and close Skarra’s big mouth,” he said.
Shegs Vs Skarra in the past two games played in the Super League:
Supa Strikas Vs Invincible United – March
Shegs (no goal) – Skarra (2 goals)
United won the game 2-1
Invincible United Vs Supa Strikas - December
Skarra (1 goal) – Shegs (no goal)
United won the game 2-1 on penalties after the full time score was 1-1
So far it looks like Skarra is in front with three goals to his name against Strikas, while Shegs will be looking to break his duck when he registers his first goal against United.
