Exclusive: Fans vote for top five scandals against Strikas

For the first time in Supa Strikas’ history, Supanews lists some of the scandals overcome by the Men in Red, and the people behind them. Here are the top five scandals to hit Strikaland as voted by Strikas’ supporters.

Skarra (Invincible United striker) – Shegs’ knee injury

• Despite being injured in a vicious career-threatening tackle, Strikas’ key man, Shegs, bounced back to rescue his team in one of the most extraordinary games against their archenemies, Invincible United. It’s said Skarra was behind Shegs’ knee injury, as he was the one who ordered Akindele to take Shegs out of the game.

Adokie Princewill (former Gales captain) – Where’s Cool Joe?

• The Gales captain was the suspect in this one, but it was never proven as no evidence was supplied to the police. Strikas’ powerhouse left-winger, Cool Joe, disappeared from Strikaland. But he found his way back and showed everyone why he’s called the “Crossing King”, with his deadly crosses that saw Strikas put away Gales and Unreal Madrid.

Musa Ikhana (manager /coach of Invincible United) – The Krakowski Plan

• Coach suffered a heart-attack and was sidelined. Strikas managed to qualify for a quarterfinal cup game, despite having a caretaker coach, Michael Krakowski, who was working for the enemy. Krakowski’s plan to sink Strikas against archrivals Invincible United failed, thanks to great tactics by Coach from his hospital bed! And Eze P.I. was the man who revealed that Krakowski was on Ikhana’s payroll.

Toni Vern (FC Technicali coach) – The Remote Ball

• The Technicali coach designed a remote-controlled ball to be used against Strikas. Vern switched the ball during the game and controlled it in United’s favour. Ikhana’s and Vern’s plan to bring Strikas down backfired when Strikas discovered that the two men switched the ball (with the help of Eze P.I. once again). Strikas showed charisma and determination to overcome both masterminds.

Master Ura Giri (FC Nakama coach) – Twisting Tiger: The Betrayal

• Strikas midfielder, Twisting Tiger, was crushed to discover his former coach/manager; Master Ura Giri was selling DVD’s containing his secret moves. But that didn’t stop Tiger from putting on a great show at Strikaland, a star performance despite the Men in Red’s loss to F.C. Nakama.
