Strikas lock horns with Colossus in next fixture

In their next Super League fixture, Supa Strikas will play F.C. Colossus, the team at the bottom of the log. And the pressure is on the Men in Red, who need to win their home games and grab maximum points.

Strikas won’t be looking to do anyone any favours when they meet with Colossus in the Super League. Coach has promised to make life even more difficult for the Greeks when they visit Strikaland, home of the Men in Red.

“I feel bad for Colossus’ position on the Super League table, but we’re going to collect maximum points. Log leaders Cosmos are only two points ahead and we have to win our home games convincingly,” said Coach.

Colossus will be hoping to boost their log position, but an on-form Supa Strikas will be gunning to add more pain on 11 August 2008. It’s a game many Supa Strikas fans predict will be a “walk over”.

Colossus coach, Nick “The Big Guy” Kickalopolous, was fuming when his team conceded a last-minute goal to Iron Tank in their last Super League fixture. It was a game where Colossus deserved to have won at least one point.

“We play superb football, but end up losing games that we deserve to win!” said the Colossus coach after another miserable defeat in the Super League.

“We’ve been unlucky to be bottom of the log, despite playing exciting and wonderful football. But we can’t cry about those games. We need to focus on our next task… Supa Strikas! Hopefully luck will be on our side and we’ll get our first victory,” said Kickalopolous.
