Rasta: We’re ready to deliver!

Supa Strikas captain, Dancing Rasta, has told Supanews everyone in the team will be ready to face whichever team they’re drawn with in their next Super League fixture.

“We’ve been working hard,” he said, “And whoever we’re drawn to play in da League, I’m fully confident Strikas can rise to da challenge.”

The captain made these comments after a nail-biting win over Brazil’s Clube Palmentieri on Sunday. Dancing Rasta was the star of the game and with his goal in the last minute he was voted Man of the Match by Futbol 360 viewers.

Dancing Rasta made these comments at a press conference last night, where star strikers Shegs and El Matador greeted their fans, while “Crossing King” Cool Joe and Twisting Tiger stayed close to their captain. Fresh from a win against Palmentieri, the Men in Red were clearly happy that the team has moved up one spot on the log.

Coach received congratulations all round for leading Strikas to their third win in the Super League this season. And Coach had a special message for Strikas’ fans: “The support we got in our games meant a lot to us.”

“The fans have supported us through good and bad times, and the best way for us to thank them is by making sure we keep up the pressure and challenge for the league title!” said Coach.

Man of the moment Dancing Rasta was honoured by the team’s management with two free tickets to Zanzibar. ”This is a great idea from management as it will motivate other players to work hard for the team,” added Coach.
