Dino helps Strikas exterminate Colossus
Supa Strikas’ newly signed midfielder, Dino, put on a show at Strikaland that will be remembered for a long time, helping Strikas beat Colossus this Monday.
El Matador and Dino combined exceptionally well, despite El Matador’s earlier criticism of Dino when he called him a traitor working against Strikas. This move to bring Dino to the ranks of Strikas was taken after captain, Dancing Rasta, was injured in Strikas’ match against ex-Super League champs, Iron Tank.
“I was happy see El Matador put his differences aside and work together with Dino to give Strikas this precious win. This win has now given us hope that we can win the Super League if we play as a team no matter what,” said Coach in a brief interview after the match.
The Colossus game was a brilliant match, a great exhibition of skills from El Matador, Dino and Shakes. The defence was also at its very best, and The Men in Red ended on top with a 2-1 win against Colossus.
“We played well, but I don’t want the guys to get ahead of themselves as it’s dangerous to be too confident. We play Clube Palmentieri in Brazil next, a tough team that’s capable of anything,” said Coach.
The proud Coach told Supanews that to beat the Brazilians his players will need to push up their training. And hopefully Dancing Rasta will be 100% fit following his injury in their Iron Tank game.
When Supanews asked about Dino’s future at Strikaland, Coach didn’t disclose the details, but said this matter will be discussed by the board. But for now he has nothing to share with the media.
