Coach’s players gear up for Brazil

Supa Strikas’ Coach revealed last week that the Men in Red will be playing their next Super League fixture in Brazil against Clube Palmentieri – in a game that could see the Men in Red move to second position if they collect maximum points.

Coach confirmed that as part of their preparation, Strikas will first play a friendly game against Palmentieri at Ramba Stadium near Copacabana beach. However, the former Strikas midfielder didn’t mention which players will play in the friendly. And later that weekend they’ll face the Brazilians for the main showdown.

Coach would only say that more information will be released in next Friday’s press conference before Strikas jet to Brazil. With so many talented players, one wonders who will make the top eleven in the friendly game. This will be an opportunity for some players to show Coach that they are hungry to play at Ramba Stadium come D-Day!

“This trip is critical to us, and we plan to do things differently”, said Coach, “We’ll be giving our supporters information about the line-up earlier than we have in the past. It’s vital to keep our fans updated on the team’s plans.”

With Dancing Rasta out for two weeks it’s no surprise that Coach will be looking for different players, just in case anything happens to any of his key players. Coach will want the team to be 100% balanced as they need to collect vital points.
