What does Brazil have in store for Strikas?
Supa Strikas’ trips overseas are never short of breathtaking soccer and lots of adventure! But with its history of football, Brazil looks set to be the biggest test the Men in Red will face away from home yet.
Brazil is well known for its star Edwin, who led the Brazilian national team to the final of the World Cup in 1970; and Kada, who tallied a number of spectacular goals in the Copa Americano tournaments. The country’s tradition of quality players continues and Strikas will have their work cut out for them, as Clube Palmentieri have promised Coach they’ll be tested big time.
Supa Strikas’ travel record in the Super League has included Europe, the Mediterranean Sea and Asia, showing the team is capable of performing on foreign soil. Let’s have a look at their overseas record.
F.C. Nakama (Asia): Strikas played two games against Nakama, winning one game and losing one. It was a great challenge for the Men in Red and it was also discovered that Master Uri Giri stole the famous Akiru necklace, but that didn’t stop Strikas from collecting maximum points in their Super League game.
Gallacticos (Europe): Strikas played against top Spanish club Gallacticos, playing the first half with a reserve side. Strikas drew the game 2-2 after the first eleven managed to make it in time for the second half. It was the game where defender Rizo was BORN!
F.C. Hydra (Mediterranean Sea): Strikas played against Hydra in one of the most outstanding stadiums in the Super League. Strikas won the game despite rumours of Hydra fans’ attempts to keep the Strikas players out of action.
Strikas’ away record is solid. They have proven they can play in different conditions and under pressure. Hopefully their trip to Brazil will go without a hitch and the team can concentrate on delivering quality football.
