Rasta: Our Road to League Glory will be tough
Despite being one of the top three league contenders, Supa Strikas are taking their F.C Technicali fixture as seriously as any other. Supa Strikas captain, Dancing Rasta, said their road to league glory will be tough as they are the defending champions.
The Technicali game will see Strikas gunning for their sixth win in the Super League. While Technicali are not yet serious contenders, they could be a potential banana skin for the defending champs. A loss for Strikas would hand the advantage to their archrivals, Invincible United, as they are sitting two points behind Strikas on the log.
Supa Strikas captain, Dancing Rasta, is confident his team will have the skills to overcome the technical boys. But the Jamaican star won’t be relaxing and said Strikas have their work cut out for them if they want to win the league again.
Rasta singled out heroic players Cool Joe, Shegs and El Matador, for the creativity they showed in getting the win for Supa Strikas against Club Orion.
“Cool Joe, Shegs and El Matador are key to our plans. If dey can reproduce deir form consistently, we will be in a good position when we play against our title rivals – FC Nakama, Cosmos and Invincible United,” said Dancing Rasta.
Rasta also said the road to league glory is going to get even tougher, but they are optimistic they’ll get the required points and bring the trophy back to Strikaland.
